Soniya is a PhD student in Quantitative Marketing and a member of the Marketing group, advised by Prof. Jaideep Prabhu and Prof. Ahmed Khwaja. Her interest lies in the empirical analysis of marketing problems at the intersection of business innovation, social impact, and marketing strategy. Her experience as a researcher in emerging markets fuels her inspiration to contribute to the sustainable business ecosystem for nano entrepreneurs, small and medium-scale enterprises, and technology-based industries.

• Received Tony Cowling Award 2022-23 (£10,000) for the research project.

• Impact Forum Coordinator for hosting research forums to promote impactful research.

• Teaching Assistant for MBA Elective “Innovation in Emerging Markets” for 2022-24 | Supervision for Management Tripos: Marketing Module.

• Organised Annual Winter Doctoral Conference 2022 at Cambridge Judge Business School.

  • Worked as a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha – Ninong Ering: Comprehensive study and research on the impact of data governance in the northeastern region of India with focus on development sector and the Telecommunication sector; Collated the impact making stories of Regional Leaders to be published as a book under Mr. Ninong Ering, Member of Parliament, Arunachal Pradesh.

  • Worked as an Impact Assessment Consultant at Adharshila: Managed a team of 40 underprivileged students to develop models for data measuring & analyzing the impact of the health centers and computer coaching in 3 adopted communities: Harkesh Nagar, Kalkaji & Sanjay Colony.
